    Home Bound

It looks like my soon-to-be-wife found a place to live after all!  A SWEET 2 bed 1.5 bath opened up at that one place - just in time!  Special thanks to Eli (not that he'll ever read this) for saving the unit and giving us first dibs on the place.

All you loyal readers and friendlies out there, do you have any advice (or funny anecdotes) about your first roommate situation?  Post generously as I've heard some fantastic horror stories of roommates and landlords and would love to hear about 'em!

    Home Alone . . .

Many of you may know that i will be getting wed soon and very soon -  6 weeks and a day to be exact.  We've been taking a "break" from the wedding planning phase and picking up the "where on earth are we going to live" phase.  Although this phase isn't as well known, it is just as much crucial (maybe even moreso) and dehabilitating.  Yes, i said dehabilitating and i will explain why.

This phase mainly consists of two individuals finding the perfect place after researching, talking, driving around, talking a bit more, visiting, talking again . . . you get the picture.  Well, we're pretty sure we found our place - with one slight hurdle.  No vacancy for at least another month - possibly more!  Where on earth are two non-pet owning, 2 bed & 1.5 bath seeking, quiet living newlyweds going to begin their new life together?

Is there some secret society of really great housing in Redmond?  Do i need to learn a secret handshake or have some mason-shaped tatoo?  If any of you fine readers happen to belong to a shifty-eyed organization with resources to the hidden apartment treasures i vow here and now to keep this brotherhood a secret - till death do i part!
